Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance In-Charge Reports to: Plant Head Location: Umargam Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Maintenance In-Charge to oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and optimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures for existing & new machineries. Supervise and mentor maintenance staff (technicians, electricians, mechanics). Plan and schedule maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, corrective). Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs. Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality norms. Analyze equipment performance data to optimize maintenance schedules. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and disruptions. Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and total productive maintenance (TPM). Ensure accurate implementation of Mechanical, electrical & plumbing work. Along with annual maintenance contract for plant & machineries. Good knowledge in maintaining the factory utilities. Train staff on new equipment, technologies, and maintenance procedures. Educational & Other Requirements Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering field. 5+ years of experience in maintenance management Electrical & Mechanical domain. Proven track record of reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability. Strong knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards. Nice To Have Certification in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or quality management. Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography).
