Job Description

As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for leading backend development and infrastructure for our marketplace platform. With a strong experience in Magento 1 and Magento 2, you will work closely with a talented team to develop scalable Magento modules, integrate Node.js services, automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the performance, reliability, and clean engineering standards across the entire stack. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, develop, and maintain custom Magento 2 modules, with support for legacy Magento 1 code when required. - Integrate and extend backend functionality using Node.js services, ensuring a modular, scalable architecture. - Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and zero-downtime deployments. - Deploy, monitor, and optimize infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.). - Ensure backend performance, reliability, and security at scale. - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for smooth delivery of end-to-end features. - Conduct code reviews, write technical documentation, and enforce best practices across the team. - Stay up to date with Magento upgrades, performance tuning, and security patches. Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of Magento backend development experience, with strong expertise in both Magento 1 and Magento 2. - Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, and Magento's architectural patterns (EAV, ORM, DI, etc.). - Hands-on experience integrating or building services using Node.js. - Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, Git workflows, and deployment automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). - Proven ability to manage and optimize infrastructure in AWS, including provisioning, scaling, and securing services. - Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for third-party integrations. - Familiarity with Magento's multi-vendor marketplace modules or custom implementations. - Strong debugging, optimization, and system architecture skills. - Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities in a collaborative, agile team environment.,
