Job Summary: The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for minimizing financial losses related to theft, fraud, and operational errors in stores or company locations. This includes developing security strategies, investigating incidents, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement loss prevention policies and procedures across all locations. Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular audits to detect and prevent shrinkage. Conduct internal investigations related to theft, fraud, or inventory discrepancies. Work closely with store management, HR, and law enforcement as needed. Train staff on safety, theft prevention, and emergency protocols. Ensure compliance with company and legal standards for safety and security. Analyze loss trends and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions. Lead a team of loss prevention officers/security personnel. Respond promptly to emergencies including theft, fire, or health hazards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in retail loss prevention, asset protection, or security management. Strong analytical and investigative skills. Familiarity with CCTV, EAS, and other surveillance/security tools. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to multiple sites if needed. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Loss Prevention (e.g., LPC Loss Prevention Certified). Prior experience in retail chain operations or logistics security. Knowledge of Indian legal procedures related to theft and security.
