Job Description
As a Delivery and Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth delivery operations and efficient inventory management of dairy products. Your primary duties will include assigning deliveries to delivery boys, monitoring their progress, and addressing any issues that may arise during the delivery process. It will be essential for you to resolve customer queries and complaints related to delivery operations promptly and effectively. In terms of inventory management, you will be required to maintain accurate records of dairy product stocks, monitor inventory levels, and reorder products as necessary to prevent shortages. Implementing efficient inventory management practices to minimize waste and loss will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for tracking the attendance of delivery boys and ensuring punctuality. Monitoring employee performance, providing feedback, and maintaining records of attendance will be crucial aspects of your role. Route optimization will be another key area of focus for you. Planning efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, as well as optimizing delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, will be essential to the success of the delivery operations. This full-time position requires a candidate with strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, as well as experience using computer software such as Microsoft Office and inventory management systems, will be beneficial in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role. The job type is full-time, with a work schedule from 2 am to 12 pm. The preferred experience includes 3 years in shift management, delivery management, and logistics.
