Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Head to lead and manage both domestic and international logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain systems, export-import regulations, warehouse management, and strategic logistics planning. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end domestic and international logistics, including shipping, warehousing, distribution, and customs compliance.

Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business objectives, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Negotiate contracts and terms with freight forwarders, transporters, and courier companies.

Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade regulations, including DGFT, EXIM policies, and export documentation.

Coordinate with production, planning, export-import, and sales teams for timely dispatch and delivery.

Oversee warehouse operations and ensure optimal inventory levels, safety, and audit compliance.

Track shipments and resolve any logistics issues or delays proactively.

Implement technology and automation in logistics processes for better visibility and control.

Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team across multiple locations. Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports for management on logistics performance and cost metrics.

Strong knowledge of EXIM documentation, customs procedures, and international freight regulations.
