Requirements: 2+ years of experience in operations, preferably in the logistics industry Should know Hindi and English Should be able to work on Microsoft excel, Powerpoint, Word Mobile Phone and 2 wheeler needed. Good communication skills Self-motivated and disciplined, with a strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: > Oversee the entire shipment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. > Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to arrange shipments, manage schedules, and ensure on-time deliveries. > Track and monitor shipments in real-time, resolving any delays or issues promptly. Documentation and Compliance: >Ensure all necessary documentation, customs forms, and invoices, are completed accurately and promptly. > Stay up-to-date with relevant local regulations and compliance standards related to logistics and cargo. > Customer Service & Relationship Management: > Communicate directly with clients to update them on the status of shipments and address any concerns or special requirements. > Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Process Optimization: > Continuously review and evaluate operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. > Proactively identify and resolve potential operational bottlenecks to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods. JOB DESCRIPTION Problem Resolution: > Address operational challenges, including delays, cargo damages, and shipping errors, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely and customer-friendly manner. > Liaise with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues. > Reporting and Analysis: > Prepare regular reports on operational performance, shipment status, and inventory levels for management review. > Analyze operational data and provide insights for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Vendor and Supplier Management: > Manage relationships with transporters, carriers, and other service providers, negotiating rates and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. > Monitor the performance of vendors and suppliers, ensuring that they adhere to agreed-upon standards and timelines.
