You will be taking on the role of a Linux Delivery Engineer at Ssquad Global, where your main responsibilities will include deploying and securing Linux servers in both on-premises and cloud environments, managing network configurations, and providing L2-level troubleshooting and support. As a Linux Delivery Engineer, you will be tasked with deploying servers and creating templates for new setups, implementing security hardening measures based on the operating system version, and assisting application teams with post-deployment tasks such as user account creation, filesystem setup, and software installation. Additionally, you will be responsible for modifying and managing DNS, DHCP, and Proxy PAC settings, configuring SMTP/Mail Relay settings, preparing OS-level handover documentation, ensuring software and tooling compliance, integrating with TPAM systems, and offering L2-level support for server-related incidents. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory), with at least 4-5 years of experience as an L2 Engineer. The working hours are aligned with the Australian Time Zone (AU Shift), and the position is open for immediate joiners. The contract duration is initially set for 1 year with the possibility of extension.
