As a Linguistic Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing transcription and annotation projects to ensure high-quality linguistic data for AI/ML applications. Your role will involve defining and implementing best practices for transcription and annotation to enhance AI training datasets. Additionally, you will conduct advanced linguistic analysis to identify dialectal variations, phonetic challenges, and speech disfluencies that may impact AI performance. Collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists, and NLP researchers is essential to improve speech recognition and language models. You will also support multilingual speech data initiatives across Indic languages and English, staying updated on Generative AI, ASR, and NLP trends to provide linguistic insights for AI model development. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Masters or PhD in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Phonetics, Speech Science, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in linguistic data annotation, ASR transcription, or AI/ML-based language processing.
