Job Description
As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing lighting layouts and simulations using tools such as Dialux EVO, Calculux, Lumen Micro, and AutoCAD. You will prepare detailed BOQs, technical documentation, and presentations utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint. Your role will involve selecting and specifying appropriate luminaires and lighting components based on design intent and project requirements. Collaboration with clients, architects, and consultants to present concepts and align on design direction will be a key aspect of your job. You will also coordinate with internal and external teams to manage specifications, approvals, and project milestones. Regular participation in site visits to assess on-ground conditions and ensure design implementation is essential to the role. The ideal candidate for this position should have hands-on experience with lighting design software and a solid understanding of AutoCAD. A professional approach, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and priorities effectively are crucial.
