The position of Legal Officer (Court matters) at our company in Surat requires a qualified and experienced Legal Associate with a proactive approach to legal proceedings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of legal matters, including litigation, contract drafting, and review. Key Responsibilities Litigation Management: - Handling civil and commercial litigation, such as drafting and filing pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, representing the company in court hearings, and preparing legal arguments and evidence. - Monitoring court proceedings and ensuring compliance with court orders. - Collaborating with external counsel and legal experts as necessary. Contract Review And Drafting: - Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various commercial contracts like sales and purchase agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, employment agreements, and confidentiality agreements. Legal Research And Advice: - Providing timely and accurate legal guidance to internal departments on a range of legal issues. - Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions on complex legal matters. Other Duties: - Maintaining accurate records of all legal matters. - Preparing legal reports and presentations as needed. - Assisting in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures. - Staying updated on legal developments and industry best practices. Requirements: - L.L.B qualification from a recognized university. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling court matters. - Strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation. - Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.
