Job description Job Title: Learning Mentor Location :Kannur We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Academic Mentor to support and enhance student academic performance and personal development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with students, educators, and families to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities : Student Engagement & Mentorship Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth. Lead enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and initiatives that promote holistic development. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school counselors to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions. Academic Support & Progress Monitoring Continuously assess student academic performance to identify areas requiring additional support. Assist in creating individualized learning plans tailored to student strengths and challenges. Reinforce classroom learning through supplemental instruction and skill-building activities. Parent Communication & Collaboration Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians to share progress updates and address concerns. Coordinate and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic progress, behavioral observations, and goal setting. Provide parents with strategies and resources to support student learning at home. Data Management & Reporting Accurately record and track student attendance, academic outcomes, behavioral observations, and intervention results. Generate regular performance reports and analyze data to inform instructional strategies. Utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) and educational platforms for effective data tracking and reporting. Candidate Profile A genuine passion for mentoring and student development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable educational insights.
