Job Description

The Manager role at our organization in Delhi, India within the Chemicals sector involves implementing sales strategies for the assigned product to achieve sales targets and foster sustainable business growth. You will collaborate closely with customers to identify new markets in alignment with the business strategy. Your key result areas will include: 1. Market Development and Detailed Understanding for Specialty Blends: Water Treatment (Vytal) - Sustain and grow current product and application base - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market and its potential - Monitor competitors and substitute products - Analyze business drivers such as pricing, industry trends, competition, and seasonality impact - Create a business portfolio for short-term and long-term growth plans - Utilize the PEARL tracker tool for effective portfolio management 2. Techno-Commercial Approach to Business Development - Conduct customer trials to establish business relationships - Collaborate with the Technical Service & Development (TS&D) Team - Develop collateral with the TS&D team for established products and applications 3. Achieving Budgeted Numbers in Volume, Revenue, and Percentage Margins - Attain budgeted numbers with existing and newly developed customers - Ensure that percentage margins at customers are higher than standard products - Maintain control over receivables - Expand to new geographies, applications, and product grades while mitigating existing product challenges - Increase wallet share in the existing market 4. Customer Complaints and Resolution - Address and resolve customer complaints with assistance from other departments (Technical/R&D/Logistics) Education Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing Experience Level: - 8-10 years of relevant experience Job Responsibilities: - Understanding and applying chemicals in the water segment - Market and customer mapping - Resolving technical queries of customers - Conducting field trials and introducing new applications for Vytal - Extensive travel may be required - Coordination with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and MBA This position will report to the Assistant Manager.,
