Job Description
As a ServiceNow Platform Specialist, you will play a crucial role in configuring, managing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Your responsibilities will include investigating and diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and providing timely support to end-users by resolving issues and working on tickets as needed. Collaborating with the ServiceNow team members, you will assist in platform upgrades, apply patches, develop workflows, conduct testing, and contribute to solution development. Monitoring and maintaining core data on the platform, such as users, groups, and locations, will be essential, along with overseeing the overall platform health and performance to address potential issues proactively. You will be involved in system testing for service request workflows, automations, configurations, and other development work, ensuring quality and reliability. Additionally, creating and updating system design documentation, knowledge articles, test scripts, reports, and dashboards will be part of your responsibilities to meet stakeholder and business customer requirements. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, along with 8 to 11 years of ServiceNow administration experience. Proficiency in ServiceNow modules like ITSM, Knowledge, Role Management, ACLs, user management, and group management is crucial. Knowledge of JavaScript, GlideScript, REST, XML, and other relevant technologies is required, as well as experience in ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and report creation. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the ITIL framework for service management, adapting to different time zones based on project requirements, experience with SOX enforced policies, and working in regulated environments. Holding CSM Certification and ServiceNow certifications like ServiceNow Developer and ServiceNow System Administrator would be advantageous for this role.,
