Job Description

As an experienced professional in the automotive industry with 6-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for benchmarking various chassis systems including Hydraulic brakes and Wheels, Anti-lock braking system, and Electronic Stability Control system (ESP). Your key deliverables will include setting and evaluating vehicle performance attribute targets, aligning product/customer requirements with system design specifications, and component design specifications through benchmarking of the braking system. You will collaborate with the material management team to develop proto parts and ensure the building of prototypes for concept verification. Additionally, you will be involved in vehicle development work such as brake pedal feel tuning exercises, vehicle performance enhancement, and light weighting. Ensuring quality compliance in all platform products to meet customer requirements will be a crucial aspect of your role. In case of field complaints, you will work towards their resolution by closely collaborating with PVT teams. Furthermore, you will play a key role in cost reduction initiatives by working with the Integrated Material Cost Reduction team to identify opportunities to reduce product costs. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
