As an Engineering Manager at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will be responsible for leading a group of engineers specializing in Primary, Steel Structural, Seismic, and electrical engineering, as well as projects execution. Your primary objective will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to meet stakeholder expectations under the guidance of the Manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing engineering activities related to PGHV products, coordinating with the factory for drawing review and release to customers and production, implementing customer feedback, and ensuring timely delivery of results with high quality standards. You will also be in charge of long-term planning in collaboration with the product group, defining team-level strategies aligned with the local Business Unit and INOPC strategy. In terms of processes, you will be responsible for implementing structures to achieve long-term objectives, continuously improving work processes, and ensuring operational development in line with the overall strategy. Additionally, you will play a key role in project management by preparing manpower budgets, analyzing data for cost optimization, and expanding project scopes as per defined strategies. To excel in this role, you must hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in executing Power System projects/products. Previous experience in team leadership and people management is essential for this position.
