As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for utilizing NX CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings. Your expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the designs. Additionally, you will conduct stackup analysis to evaluate the dimensional variations within assemblies. A solid understanding of aero engine fundamentals is required to effectively contribute to the design process. Your proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling will be crucial in visualizing and developing innovative solutions. You will also be tasked with performing hand calculations and applying basic knowledge of strength of materials to validate the designs. Handling nonconformances and providing timely disposition will be part of your daily activities. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in identifying and resolving any discrepancies in the design process.
