Job Description
As an Electrical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for checking and approving the electrical design basis as well as various electrical deliverables and schedules prepared by design engineers. This includes LV/HV Single Line Diagrams, interconnection diagrams/schedules, and drawing wise MTO, bulk MTO, SOQ. Additionally, you will review and approve electrical system study reports, relay setting schedules, and PDS Models. Your role will involve performing and checking sizing calculations for various electrical equipment, approving earthling and heat load calculations, and preparing MR, Datasheet & TBE for extra high voltage systems and HV systems. You will also be responsible for checking MR, Datasheet & TBE for other electrical equipment, cathodic protection systems, and heat tracing systems. In this position, you will review vendor drawings, electrical layouts, power & grounding layouts, cable tray layouts, cathodic protection layouts, switchyard layouts, equipment layouts, and area classification layouts. You will also prepare P.A & F.A system layouts, estimate Man-hrs, and check lists of deliverables, QMS procedures, and departmental procedures. Your educational background should include a degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.TECH) and a minimum of 12 years of experience, including 1 year of training. You should possess basic engineering knowledge specific to the discipline, good communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in operating computers, Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills and competencies required for this role include knowledge of material specification and industry advances, project specifications, and Indian and international standards. Familiarity with ETAP software, planning and scheduling, guiding and mentoring skills, time management, and prioritizing will be essential for success in this position.,
