Job Title : Database Administrator (with Data Architect & Analytics Focus) Location : : IT / Data Summary : We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in data architecture, engineering, warehousing, and analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing databases, with a keen understanding of data-driven decision-making processes. Familiarity with AI and ML concepts will be a significant Responsibilities : Management and Administration : Install, configure, and maintain (backup, recovery, patching) database systems. Monitor health and performance, optimizing as necessary to ensure efficient and reliable data retrieval and updates. Ensure security and integrity of all data, including implementing necessary access controls and Architecture & Engineering : Design and maintain logical and physical data models to support business requirements. Develop and manage ETL processes to move data between systems. Integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and Warehousing : Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence (BI) and reporting needs. Ensure real-time or near-real-time data availability for time-sensitive business Analytics : Work closely with business units and data analysts to provide support in data selection, extraction, and analysis. Recommend and implement best practices for data visualization and & ML Familiarity : Collaborate with data scientists to provide data sets for AI/ML projects. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML techniques and incorporate relevant techniques into the data and Documentation : Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand and support their database needs. Document database designs, architectures, and procedures for both technical and non-technical and Requirements : Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on data architecture, engineering, warehousing, and analytics. Proficient in [specific database systems, e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server]. Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc. Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools. Familiarity with AI and ML concepts is a plus.
