You are a highly skilled and experienced BigData Platform Architect, sought after to join our team and make a significant impact with a purpose-driven industry leader. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement the vision and roadmap for the DataPlatform, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. You will design and build large shared platforms and hybrid cloud platforms that are scalable, reliable, and secure. Collaboration with business and product teams is crucial to establish and drive consensus on platform strategies and initiatives. Your role as a visionary leader involves leading the architecture and design of data solutions to meet the needs of the business and support the company's strategic goals. Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies is essential to ensure the DataPlatform remains cutting-edge. You will oversee the implementation of data governance and security best practices and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. This position is hybrid, and the expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Basic Qualifications: - 13+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) OR 15+ years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Proven experience in building large shared platforms and hybrid cloud platforms. - Strong expertise in BigData technologies and architectures. - Technologist with excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in a similar role within a large organization. - Knowledge of data governance and security best practices. - Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies. - Experience with data-driven decision-making processes. - Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
