Job Description
As a Techno-Functional Data Programmer in the area of Risk & CFCC Data Store, Analysis, and AI-backed product delivery, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Compliance and Financial Crime Data Store & Reporting. You will also be responsible for providing AI-backed solutions, including both new development and BAU support for legacy data products. It is crucial to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of data products at all times. Your responsibilities will include conducting business analysis of Risk & CFCC use cases, collaborating with various teams to define data solutions, and working closely with Technology Developers to implement strategic data solutions. You will need to utilize Python and SQL programming for data solution development, design AI Agents using Generative AI tools, and develop Presto SQL views to support data delivery and visualization. Additionally, you will work on data programming using Jupyter Notebook, Excel Power Query, and Tableau dashboards development, as well as data mapping, reference data identification, analysis, and management. In terms of strategy, you will be required to define data sourcing guidelines, target data definitions, and data architecture for the Risk & CFCC Data Store platform. You will play a key role in enabling the creation of best practices, data delivery frameworks, and data modeling guidelines for Credit Risk, while supporting both strategic and ad hoc data requirements of Risk & CFCC. Furthermore, you will support the establishment of best practices, solution patterns, and nimble data solutions within the wider data community and the CDO Office. It will be essential to stay updated on upcoming trends in data management practices and data science technologies to continuously improve the ways of working. Your role will also involve supporting the attraction and retention of data management talent within the organization, embedding compliance with data management risks, and ensuring adherence to risk management practices. You will collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Global Head Data Insights & Delivery, Credit Risk Reporting Team, Change Management Team, Technology counterparts in CIO Teams, and Data Quality & Governance Team. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a similar Quantitative Discipline, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in Risk. Proficiency in SQL, Python Data Programming, Jupyter Notebook skills, knowledge of Generative AI, and good stakeholder management and communication skills are required. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively under time pressure, adapt to changing requirements, and possess role-specific technical competencies such as experience in Risk, SQL & Python Programming, knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, Generative AI, Business Analysis, and Effective Communication skills.
