Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Engineer for a Fintech Startup.
Job Profile:
Lead the architecture, design, and engineering of a rewards and voucher redemption platform. Design and build microservices for points wallet, voucher catalogue, redemption flow, and campaign pipelines
Integrate with voucher aggregators, messaging APIs (SMS/Email/WhatsApp), HRMS/Analytics systems
Ensure PCI-DSS, GDPR/privacy, and internal security best practices
Lead dev team, define reusable components, enforce code standards
Collaborate with PM and UX to deliver robust APIs and real-time systems under <2 sec latency
Requirements:
7+ years in SaaS/Fintech platforms (wallets, loyalty, voucher engines)
Strong in Java/Kotlin, Node.js, Go, or similar backend stacks, plus React/Flutter for front-end
Designed scalable systems (500k+ users), used microservices, message queues, caching
Hands-on with relational & NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
Knowledge of payments compliance in India (RBI e-gift rules, data localization)
