Job Requirements Perform migration of legacy Control systems to 800xA platform, including system analysis, migration planning, and execution. Provide technical expertise in control system configurations, programming of logic/HMI, testing, and functional verifications. Interpret with existing logics & HMI in Advant controller and implement for new system requirements. Prepare and update technical documentation including existing FDS, IO lists, Architecture, operation manuals and test procedures. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality post-migration, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Identify opportunities for optimizing system performance and reliability and implement improvements in collaboration with the engineering team Work Experience A Graduate engineer with 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, particularly in the integration and migration of legacy systems to modern platforms. Good understanding of ABB Advant Control series and ABB 800xA systems and ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and minimal downtime. Knowledge of any tool for logic/application conversions will be an added advantage. Proficient in Ethernet network configurations and communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, Profibus etc.) Proven track record in leading large-scale DCS projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or manufacturing sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information.,
