Job Description
As a Laundry Supervisor, you are required to have good communication, organizational, and planning skills. Your responsibilities include being computer literate with knowledge of property software, understanding the operation and care of commercial machines, and knowledge of various cleaning agents and their proper usage and safety protocols. Accountability and a spirited attitude are essential qualities for this role. Your major accountabilities include working closely with the Laundry Executive to prepare staff schedules for optimal time utilization, maintaining high standards for Guest Laundry and House Laundry, training new employees to meet hotel standards and SOPs, ensuring maintenance of laundry equipment by the Engineering Department, managing par stocks and safe storage of stock, adhering to health and safety regulations, and communicating effectively with clients and staff regarding laundry needs and concerns. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing any additional assignments as directed by the management. The minimum qualification required for this position is a Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of previous experience in reputable five-star hotels. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of job experience. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will report to the CMD and may be required to travel as and when necessary.
