You will be responsible for designing, estimating, and coding new features as a key part of this role. Your primary focus will be on coding, architecting new applications, and expanding existing ones. Collaboration on enterprise architecture with other teams at Internet Brands will be an essential aspect of your work. You will also play a vital role in investigating and resolving production issues, defining, documenting, and enforcing engineering standards, and conducting code reviews of your team members" work. Mentoring junior engineers and participating in software design discussions will be part of your responsibilities. You will also contribute to sprint planning and other project management meetings, ensuring that all code deployed to production meets the highest quality standards. Additionally, scaling existing applications to meet expected demand, addressing gaps in system reliability, and enhancing the software infrastructure will be key objectives. Your background should include at least 4 years of experience in object-oriented programming in PHP and proficiency in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You should have expertise in developing complex SQL queries, designing database schemas, and working with MVC frameworks such as Laravel and Yii. Experience with modern server components like Memcache, Redis, ActiveMQ, and Solr will be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with collaborative team environments, tools like JIRA and Git, consuming and creating web services, and a stable work history demonstrating effective collaboration are required for this position.,
