Primary Role to support scientific investigations by performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and maintaining lab equipment to ensure accurate and timely results.

Major Responsibilities:

Sample Collection & Preparation:
Collect, label, and prepare biological or chemical samples for testing.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures.

Conducting Tests:
Perform routine laboratory tests using microscopes, analyzers, and other lab equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each test.

Data Recording & Analysis:
Accurately document test results and observations.
Analyze data and report findings to supervisors or medical staff.

Equipment Maintenance:
Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
Report malfunctions or need for repairs.

Safety & Compliance:
Follow all lab safety guidelines and protocols (e.g., use of PPE, disposal of hazardous waste).
Comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GLP, ISO, CLIA depending on the lab).

Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels of lab supplies and reagents.
Assist in ordering and organizing inventory.
