Job Description

• Sample Collection: Collect blood, urine, and other specimens from patients, following established procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Laboratory Testing: Perform a wide range of diagnostic tests and analyses on collected specimens, including blood counts, chemistry panels, microbiology cultures, and urinalysis
• Instrument Operation: Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used for testing, such as microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers
• Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following quality control protocols, calibrating equipment, and performing routine maintenance
• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret test results and identify abnormalities or irregularities that may indicate underlying health conditions
• Report Preparation: Record and report test results accurately, maintaining clear and organized records for healthcare providers
• Blood Banking: Perform blood typing, crossmatching, and blood product compatibility testing for transfusions
