Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
3-4+ years of experience in Desktop, Network Support, and IT Service Desk
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Exchange, and antivirus software
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware, software and Network regarding Issues
Experience with deployment and imaging technologies
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of networking technologies and a basic understanding of servers is preferred

Key Competencies

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, and others.
Ability to design and implement scalable and efficient network architectures.
Knowledge of subnetting, VLANs, and other network segmentation techniques.
Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network switches and routers.
Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
Experience with wireless networking standards (e.g., Wi-Fi) and their configurations.
Understanding of wireless security protocols and best practices.
Proficient in using network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network problems.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and evolving business requirements.
Willingness to earn new skills and take on new challenges.
