The role based in Nungambakkam and Adyar involves supporting civil engineering projects through various tasks. This includes assisting in project design by creating plans and models for infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for conducting calculations and analyses to ensure design integrity and compliance with engineering standards at local, state, and federal levels. Collaboration with project managers and other engineers is essential to gather project requirements, scope, and timelines accurately into the designs. Regular site visits are required to oversee construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any arising issues effectively. Permit applications need to be prepared and submitted to relevant agencies to ensure project compliance with environmental, safety, and zoning regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in developing cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor to support budget planning and project proposals. Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is necessary for mapping and analysis to aid in project planning and decision-making. Moreover, the role entails researching and implementing new materials and technologies to propose innovative solutions for civil engineering challenges. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the designated locations.,
