Job Description: Junior Quantitative Analyst (Junior Quant) Position: Junior Quantitative Analyst Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and testing of quantitative models for pricing, trading, or risk management. Analyze large datasets using statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns or opportunities. Support senior quants and traders with data-driven insights, simulations, and performance analysis. Work with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools to build and validate models. Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement models into production environments. Conduct backtesting and stress-testing of strategies using historical market data. Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings clearly for internal use. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Quantitative Finance. Solid understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and time-series analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or MATLAB. Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, and trading concepts is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
