As a Junior Officer - Boiler at Bunge in India, you will be reporting to the Senior Executive - Boiler. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the boiler by maintaining proper steam pressure and flow to the process. Your main accountabilities will include: - Operating and maintaining the boiler and its auxiliaries such as ID Fan, FD Fan, PA Fan, Boiler feed pump, LP & HP dosing pump, Coal feeder, etc. - Overseeing the smooth operation of the Coal handling system and Ash handling system. - Managing bed material drain and charge as required and conducting PA line flushing. - Performing physical inspection and cleaning of furnace, super heater, Economizer, Air Pre-heater, etc. during plant shutdown. - Ensuring the housekeeping of the Boiler, control room, and coal plant. - Maintaining daily log sheets and monitoring the effective capacity of the boiler to meet steam flow and pressure requirements. - Handling load fluctuation during critical process situations. - Upholding cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and adhering to safety standards. - Communicating with other process heads to ensure the smooth running of the plant. Your knowledge and skills should include mechanical expertise, understanding of steam quality and ash, and proficiency in operating DCS or PLC programs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Boiler Attendant Certificate and possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in the field.
