Job Description

You will be responsible for site supervision, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers. This includes raising and addressing corrective actions for any detected non-conformities. You will oversee the use of correct KONE installation methods and tools by the installation team and conduct proper risk assessments when KONE methods are not feasible. Your role will involve proactive site preparations, ensuring site readiness, managing customer deliverables to KONE, conducting site visits and audits, and resolving non-conformities with the customer with support from the Project Manager when needed. You will verify the site execution plan, manage field costs, plan and organize installation activities, site storage, logistics, and required resources and tools. Additionally, you will be in charge of material delivery to the site, confirming the arrival of KONE materials, receiving other materials and services, and performing Goods Receipt. You will oversee handover to the installation team, organize continuous huddles to empower the team, prevent interruptions, ensure smooth workflow on site, and focus on efficiency and waste reduction. Customer relationship management is a key aspect of your role. You will serve as the primary contact for the customer regarding site management, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication, professional installation processes, safety, and quality. In terms of people leadership and subcontractor relations, you will verify the training and competence of installers, testers, and contractors on site. You will be responsible for the safety, motivation, and wellbeing of site operatives, identifying training needs, managing team performance, and fostering relationships with subcontractors. Continual improvement is a core focus of your responsibilities. You will follow and enhance standard ways of working according to LEAN principles, motivate the team to identify waste and drive improvements, and support them in improving their standard practices. Sharing improvement opportunities, root causes, and ideas with the team and collaborators is essential, along with promoting successful team improvements.
