Job Location Hosur Jr. Engineer - Embedded is the key stakeholder for the Automation design. A Junior Embedded Systems Engineer is a professional responsible for assisting in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems and electronic circuits. You will work closely with senior engineers and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BE/ B.Tech Electronics with 1 - 2 years of Experience Basic knowledge in embedded system tools. (Spice, STMCube, OrCAD, KiCAD, KEIL, IAR) Basic knowledge in Microcontroller Architecture 8, 16, 32-bit CISC, RISC and ARM, Basic Knowledge in CPLD and FPGA Having basic knowledge with Electromechanical Machine Development processes an added advantage. Basic knowledge in EMC. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Key Result Areas - KRA) Assist in the design and development of embedded systems, including firmware, hardware, and software integration. Support the creation and maintenance of schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware prototypes. Participate in the testing and debugging of hardware and firmware to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Contribute to the development and documentation of technical specifications and design documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers. Conduct research and development of new technologies and methodologies to improve product performance. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to embedded systems and electronics. Follow best practices for coding, testing, and documentation. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS KPI 1. Assisting in Design of Embedded Systems Understand the Project Requirement Assist in Define the Scope Assist Develop Concept Designs 2. Assisting in Design Validation Assisting Validation of the Design through Design Calculations Using emulator and simulator Tools such as Spice, STMCube, OrCAD, KiCAD, KEIL, IAR for Validation Definition of Physical Test & Validation procedures 3. Assisting in Planning Project Resources Identify the Team Plan the Project Resources Identify the Risks and Mitigation Plans Project Timeline 4. Assisting in Monitoring Project Progress Monitor the Progress of the project with necessary Project Management Tools. Assist in Manageing the Issues Support / Guidance for the Team in case of requirement 5. Assisting in Delivery / Drawing Release Management Ensure the Timely delivery of Design BOM Review and Release to Production Team Release Support 6. Assisting in Reporting & Documentation Maintain the proper reports of the Development Ensure the Documentation Compilation. Assisting in Training provided to the Design team 7. Assisting in Proto building and Product validation.
