Job Description
The role of Junior Electrical Engineer in the Manufacturing Sector is suitable for individuals who are enthusiastic about utilizing their electrical engineering expertise within an industrial environment. As a recent graduate or a professional with limited experience, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical systems and equipment such as generators, compressors, CCTV systems, and building facilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior engineers to enhance electrical circuits and control panels. Routine inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical components will be conducted by you to maintain efficiency and safety standards. In the event of electrical failures, you will be responsible for analyzing the issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime while ensuring all work adheres to safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Your exposure to PLC programming, sensors, and industrial automation will be under the guidance of senior staff. Furthermore, you will contribute to energy efficiency projects aimed at enhancing sustainability and reducing operational costs. It is essential to maintain accurate documentation and reports related to electrical work, inspections, and repairs. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. While 0-2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred, internships or apprenticeships are advantageous. Proficiency in electrical circuits, power distribution, and industrial control systems is essential, along with knowledge of motors and automation systems. An understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations is also required. Strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn, teamwork, and effective problem-solving abilities are valuable soft skills for this position.
