Job Description
Were looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a solid foundation in Python and JavaScript, and hands-on experience in building full-stack applications using Next.js. The ideal candidate has worked on real-world backend projects in Python and understands the importance of testing, performance, and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
Build frontend applications using Next.js and modern JavaScript.
Write clean, reusable, and testable code.
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality features.
Test and debug applications to ensure performance and reliability.
Integrate RESTful APIs and manage application state.
Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
Required Skills & Experience
1 - 2 years of professional experience in web development.
Proficiency in Python, with real-world backend project experience.
Strong foundation in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ syntax.
Hands-on experience with Next.js or React.
Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging techniques.
Basic understanding of database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
Experience using version control systems like Git.
Preferred Skills
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Jest, React Testing Library).
Exposure to RESTful API design and consumption.
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud services is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows.
