Job Description
You will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks related to hardware and software issues. This includes diagnosing problems, testing solutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary. You will respond to user tickets through various channels and conduct remote troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will maintain and upgrade hardware and software, test and monitor network connections, and document issues and solutions in a ticketing system. In terms of system administration and maintenance, you will be tasked with installing and configuring computer hardware and software, managing user accounts and permissions, performing system backups and recovery, and applying patches and updates to ensure system security and stability. You will also provide user support and training by offering basic training to users, assisting new employees with setup, ensuring users are aware of IT policies and procedures, and escalating complex issues to specialized teams to ensure appropriate support levels. Other responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of IT equipment, developing technical solutions to improve efficiency and productivity, and staying up-to-date on technology trends to keep skills current and relevant.
