Job Description

As a Junior Clinical Pharmacist in the Supply Chain - Clinical Pharmacology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring medication and patient safety by adhering to hospital policies and regulatory/accreditation guidelines. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting medication reviews and clinical audits, transcribing and indenting drug orders, tracking and receiving medications from the pharmacy, auditing in-patient orders for accuracy, monitoring medication administration records, and rectifying any errors observed. You will collaborate with Clinical Pharmacologists to clarify patient records, address non-formulary drug prescriptions, check and maintain medication stock in various settings, document restricted antibiotics, monitor adverse drug reactions, and serve as a drug information resource. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with healthcare professionals, demonstrating strong analytical skills, and having a good understanding of medications. The ideal candidate for this position will hold an M. Pharma or Pharma D degree, with both freshers and experienced individuals being encouraged to apply. Desired skills include excellent communication abilities, interpersonal skills, teamwork capabilities, analytical thinking, and proficiency in computer usage. This is a full-time, permanent role with a rotational shift schedule, and the work location is in person.
