Role: JUNIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

Location: Bangalore/Chennai (Hybrid work culture)

Key Responsibilities:

Development:

Design, develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.

Ensure the implementation of best practices for coding, security and performance.

Collaboration and Leadership: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Contribute to team-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Problem Solving:

Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack.

Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstoensureseamlessintegrationanddeployment processes.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-4 years of professional experience in Java backend development, with a focus on building scalable applications.

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and RESTful API development.

Expertise in API-related technologies, including JSON, REST, Swagger and tools such as Postman.

Proven ability to develop back-end services in a large-scale, high-performance environment.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bit bucket. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Java11+andSpring Boot.
• Experience in Microservices, Event Driven Systems and Kafka and Schema management.
• Experience with MongoDB, Influx DB or similar No SQL databases.
• Experience in Data heavy applications. Experience with access management protocols like OAuth 2.0 and Open ID Connect.
• Experience writing, J unit tests and Integration tests.
• Experience with Agile methodology or similar lean startup approach to building software.
• Experience in IOT platforms would be a plus.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. Experience in mentoring junior resources and cross team collaboration.
