Job Title: Junior Electrical Design Engineer Location: Chevayur, Calicut Department: Engineering Design Job Type: Full-time | Entry-Level Reporting To: Senior Design Engineer / Engineering Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering design team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation of electrical system layouts, calculations, and documentation for various industrial and infrastructure projects. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing electrical design drawings such as single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring layouts, and panel schedules. Perform basic load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection. Support in preparing technical documentation including datasheets, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM). Update and manage drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate integration of designs. Participate in site visits and surveys to verify conditions and assist in updating as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and client requirements. Maintain project documentation and design records efficiently.
