Job Title: Junior QA Engineer (12 Years Experience) Immediate Joiner Location: Mohali Experience: 12 Years Job Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering / Product About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer with 12 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow in a fast-paced tech environment and contribute to delivering high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Develop and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) based on product requirements. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure software quality. Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing across various platforms (web/mobile). Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and continuous process improvement. Ensure timely and effective communication regarding test status, issues, and risks. Required Skills: 12 years of experience in software testing or QA roles. Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr). Understanding of testing across web and mobile platforms. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing) is a plus.
