Job Description
1. Design & Development: Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings for sheet metal and heavy fabrication components. Conceptualize and create designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements. Optimize designs for cost, weight, and performance while maintaining structural integrity. 2. Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and engineering change notices. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless product development. Support the sales and marketing team by providing technical guidance and design insights for new proposals. 4. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve design-related issues during the production and assembly phases. Investigate and implement solutions for design challenges, including stress, load distribution, and thermal considerations.
