As an experienced web developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify backend functionalities, you will be responsible for writing clean and maintainable code in core PHP. Your expertise in customizing themes and plugins for WordPress, ensuring compatibility with the latest updates, and developing Shopify apps will be crucial for the success of projects. You will work collaboratively with teams such as designers, frontend developers, and project managers to deliver projects successfully. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in working with backend functionalities of WordPress and Shopify - Writing clean and maintainable code in core PHP - Customizing and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring compatibility with updates - Developing custom Shopify apps and integrations to enhance platform functionality and optimize website performance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Key Skills: - WordPress Backend - Shopify - Shopify Apps - Strong Comprehension - Logical and Analytical - Core PHP - Shopify Plus - Plugin Customization and Development - Team Player Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree in IT or computer applications - Any certification/diploma in web development or related field would be an advantage This is a full-time onsite position located in Mohali, Punjab. The salary package will be as per industry standards. The job type is full-time with benefits such as paid sick time and paid time off. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Mohali, Punjab before starting work.
