Saxo Bank IT consist of over 800 IT professionals based in Copenhagen and Delhi
who, using latest technologies and agile methodologies; design, build and run the
Saxo Bank’s award winning, global multi-asset trading platform. Our specialty is
within capital markets with focus on; high reliability, large volumes, low latency and a
world class, cloud-based experience for retail, institutional and white label clients.
Our in-house designed and built Saxo Bank trading system handles:

? Over 25,000 concurrent online trading clients
? 24 hours per day / 5,5 trading days per week
? more than 160,000 unique monthly users to our social trading portal
? more than 400,000 price feed updates per second
? intraday execution and booking of up to 900 trades per second
? over 500,000 trade transactions are processed daily.

Principal Responsibilities: The Role

? Technology
o Develop with the latest JavaScript web technologies, such as React, Redux and Electron

o Construct prototypes to experiment, refine and communicate new interaction concepts and features

? People and processes
o Work with product managers, UX designers, and fellow Front End developers to
design and deliver superior user experiences for Saxo's suite of trading applications
o Work in a dynamic team-oriented environment using Agile methodologies

Required Skills
? General experience
o 4+ years within software development teams
o Prior business knowledge or willingness to learn quickly about the financial industry, preferably electronic trading

? Technology
o Passion for front end development and a nice portfolio to document it
o Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Redux
o Familiarity with mobile first development and responsive design
o Experience with CSS pre-processors and object-oriented CSS principles
? People and processes
o Creative self-starter with great team and cross-group collaboration skills
o Experience creating documentation and well-commented code

Desirable Skills
? Technology
o Experience in mobile/tablet/desktop development, across multiple platforms (Win/OSX/iOS/Android)
o Experience with complex JavaScript/React applications
o Experience Styled Components and new trends in CSS styling
o Experience with Cypress, Webpack / Babel
? General experience
o Active in the community through open source, conferences and social media

Qualifications:
- Any Postgraduate/Graduate
- Any other certification relevant to required technologies would be added advantage

Working Conditions: Regular working hours with occasional overlap with Denmark
