Your proficiency should include working with Google Cloud Pub/Sub or similar streaming platforms like Kafka. You must be skilled in JSON schema design, data serialization, and handling structured data formats. As an experienced individual, you should be capable of designing BigQuery views optimized for performance, scalability, and ease of consumption. Your responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining Java-based adapters to publish transactional data from the Optimus system to Google Pub/Sub. Implementing and managing JSON schemas for smooth and accurate data ingestion into BigQuery will also be part of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure that data models are structured to support high-performance queries and business usability. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, along with the ability to align technical solutions with stakeholder requirements.
