You will be working as a Senior Developer at Hitachi Solutions India Pvt Ltd, located in Bangalore. As a Senior Developer, your primary responsibility will be to build applications and maintain end-to-end solutions using technologies such as Java, Spring Platform, Node.js, React.js, and AWS services. You will be leading and coordinating with the team across different layers of the application, ensuring collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality. To excel in this role, you should have 6 to 8 years of experience and hold a graduate degree in engineering or an MBA. Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems, excellent communication skills, and solid knowledge of object-oriented programming are essential. You should also be familiar with various design patterns and have experience with Java frameworks like Spring and Springboot. Additionally, hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like React JS would be beneficial. It would be advantageous to have experience working with application and web servers such as Nginx, Tomcat, Jboss, etc., as well as creating database schemas supporting business processes. Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git, SQL engines like Oracle, MySQL, and Non-SQL engines like MongoDB, along with familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services, is desirable. Understanding of Java GUI frameworks like React JS and Angular would be a plus. You should have a knack for writing clean, readable Java code and an understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications. Experience with automated testing platforms, unit tests, build tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, continuous integration, continuous deployments, and AWS ecosystem would be advantageous. Your responsibilities will include translating application storyboards into functional applications, designing efficient and reliable Java code, ensuring performance and quality of applications, identifying and resolving bugs, and supporting application platforms.
