Location: Kozhikode (This is a Work From Office role) Experience Level: 3- 8 years About the Role We are looking for a skilled and driven Java Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to building robust software solutions. Key Responsibilities Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design effective software solutions. Develop clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and associated frameworks. Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL. Optimize database performance through efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL tuning. Participate in the entire software development lifecyclerequirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues. Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in Java development to support continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience in Java development with a solid grasp of programming principles and best practices. Strong knowledge of Java, Spring or Spring Boot, and PL/SQL. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Experience or understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with Apache Wicket. Understanding of microservices and enterprise architecture. Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
