Role : Java Developer

Experience : 1+ Yr

Location : Kochi

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL.

• Work on both monolithic and microservices architectures depending on project needs.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, RESTful APIs, Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with both microservices and monolithic architecture.
• Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit and ensuring test coverage
• Hands-on experience with code quality management tools and practices
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles

Good to Have Skills (Secondary Skills)

• Basic understanding of Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Java certification is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Preferred experience in the shipping, or maritime domain, particularly in areas like cargo tracking, voyage planning, or port operations.
