The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our scientific facilities. This role demands a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques. Responsibilities: Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to relevant codes and standards. Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs. Inspect electrical systems for safety and functionality. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams. Install and maintain control systems and other electrical components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other technical staff on projects and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of electrical installations and repairs. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: ITI certification in Electrician/Fitter trade from a recognized institution. Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial or technical setting. Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of mechanical systems is a plus.
