Job Description

Job Summary: The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining the hardware (like CCTV Camera, Intercom System, Access Control System, Wireless Alarm System and other home security devices ) and software. The role requires hands-on work in diagnosing issues, installing new equipment, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure. The IT Technician will assist with both day-to-day IT operations and long-term projects, ensuring user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: . Hardware Support: Install, configure, and maintain hardware like CCTV, Intercom System, Access Control System, and various wired/wireless devices. . Software Support: Install, configure, and update various aplications related to hardware like CCTV, Intercom System, Access Control System, and various wird/wireless devices. . Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and security systems. . User Support: Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity. . Training: Provide basic training to clients on the use of new software and hardware systems. . Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and service agreements. Qualifications: Education: Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 1-3 years of experience in CCTV installation, Access Control, Intercom System, IT support and technical troubleshooting. Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in supporting Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office). Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with common IT tools such as remote desktop applications, and system monitoring software.
