Job Description

The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT systems, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day IT activities. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and collaborating with team members to meet business requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring network connectivity and security, and installing/configuring hardware and software applications. Key Responsibilities: - Providing on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues. - Diagnosing and resolving technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions. - Maintaining and monitoring IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and devices. - Ensuring network connectivity and security by managing firewalls, routers, and switches. - Installing, configuring, and updating hardware (computers, printers, peripherals) and software applications. - Managing IT inventory and facilitating timely equipment procurement. - Performing regular data backups and ensuring data recovery processes are in place. - Implementing cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data. - Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and processes. - Installing and configuring CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices. Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support/Technical Support. - Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MS Office. - Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting. - Experience with cloud platforms and IT management tools.
