IT Support Techniker Cyber-Security - Remote M/w/d homepage

As a Cyber-Security IT Support Technician, you will help victims of cyber attacks every day. You will be responsible for advising them individually about the dangers and risks, about the respective Ransomware families and the best possible course of action. You will clean the client's IT systems from malware, secure evidence for the law enforcement authorities and thus make an important contribution to the prosecution of cyber criminals. If the only way to decrypt the data after the ransomware attack is to pay a ransom, you advise the client on the legal compliance requirements. You coordinate internally with our ransomware negotiation team, drive ransomware negotiations and support the customer in legally compliant ransomware payment, if necessary. Decrypting the data on the IT systems is also part of your tasks, as is advising the customer on improving IT security in his company. In addition, you will be responsible for improving our internal IT processes and applications (e.g. scripts, remote management tools) and help us to get better every day.

Through your work, you will help our clients cope with the emergency situation of a cyber attack and contribute to the growth of our young company. Become part of a team led by Janos Konetschni, who has been specializing in IT security with a focus on cybercrime for over 16 years.

Your personal responsibilities and scope of duties:

• Independent support of our customers in the event of cyber attacks through consulting and comprehensive remote technical support
  
• preservation of evidence through forensic analysis to support law enforcement agencies
• Attempting data recovery through traditional data recovery methods (manual repair of backup files, Windows shadow copy services, etc)
• Support for customers in the legally compliant payment of a ransom for the decryption of data (Ransomware)
• Compliance check before payment of the ransom for possible violation of sanctions (anti-money laundering / terrorist financing)
• Documentation of cyber-attacks for law enforcement agencies, data protection (GDPR) and insurance companies
• Post-incident support to the client in securing their IT systems
• Communicate closely with the team and independently improve processes
• Active contribution to the further development and continuous improvement of our IT services and opening up new paths
